HIGHLIGHTS
- PLENARY LECTURE(S) – The plenary lecture(s) will be given by high-profile speaker(s).
- INVITED SPEAKERS – There will a host of leading experts and internationally recognised speakers sharing their knowledge with the delegates.
- SPECIAL SESSIONS – A good number of Special Sessions organised and chaired by world leading researchers and scientists will be running during the conference.
- POSTER COMPETITION – We will hold a BEST POSTER Competition (sponsored by Springer).
- PUBLICATIONS – The papers presented at NANOSMAT will be considered for publication (after peer review) in selected peer-reviewed journals (by Elsevier and Springer).
- INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION FORUM(S) – There will be an interactive discussion forum on “Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence (ai)”. Artificial intelligence-based innovations and inventions have exploded over the past few decades, and as future AI technology advances, the overall pace will continue to accelerate. Convergence between AI and nanotechnology has the potential to significantly alter the trajectory of many technological innovations that rely on AI-enabled explorations and algorithmic optimization based on new computer architectures, data, and hybrid technologies that use a large variety of related disciplines. The primary objective is to initiate a discussion among working group members and form a repository of current and diverse research that highlights the use of AI in nanomaterials synthesis for the development of novel nanomaterials, novel and unique applications in electronics, optics, catalysis, medicine, agriculture, and sustainability.
- NANOMAT AWARDS - NANOSMAT honours and recognizes international scientists who have shown, during their professional careers, outstanding achievements in the fields of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. The 2 majors will be presenting at the conference are:
- NANOSMAT PRIZE: The NANOSMAT Prize was set up in 2009 and since then it has become very popular and very prestigious amongst high calibre senior international scientists.
- KROTO MEDAL: The KROTO Medal (named after the late Nobel Prize Sir Harold Kroto) is a prestigious prize conferred on an outstanding, dynamic young researcher (PhD, PostDoc, Junior Scientist level) for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
