Special Session 9

ADVANCES IN POLYMER NANOCOMPOSITE FILMS: STRUCTURE, INTERFACE ENGINEERING, AND INNOVATIVE APPLICATIONS (SS9)

This special session will explore the forefront of research in polymer nanocomposite films and hydrogels, emphasizing the role of polymer-filler and filler-filler interactions across atomic, nano, and micro scales. Special attention will be given to the impact of these interactions on material properties, focusing on surface and interface effects and their modification through external actuation. The session will also highlight innovative 3D methods for synthesizing hydrogels, along with the multifunctional applications of these materials in energy storage, biomedical devices, water purification, and sustainable technologies.
